Frequently asked questions

Does the app work offline?

Yes, once it has downloaded content at least once. When the app has a connection it downloads our published guides and saves them on your device, and it caches guide photos in its own storage folder, so both keep working without a connection. Features that talk to a service at the moment you use them do need a connection — looking up a place on the map for the first time, and opening a booking or website link. You can clear the cached photos at any time with About → Storage → Clear image cache; they will be downloaded again next time you are online.

How often is the content updated?

Guides are published on our side, and the app fetches them rather than shipping them inside the app, so an updated guide can reach you without an App Store update. The app downloads content automatically the first time you open it and after an app update that changes the content format. Beyond that, pull down on the Explore list to refresh at any time — that fetches the current published version of every guide.

How do I report a mistake in a guide?

Email the address above. The most useful things to include are the title of the guide, what the app shows, and what it should say instead. If you are reporting a crash or something that does not load, your iPhone or iPad model and iOS version help us reproduce it. The app has no account and collects no diagnostics, so nothing reaches us unless you tell us.

Privacy

The app collects nothing: no account, no analytics, no advertising SDK, no tracking. The full details are in the privacy policy.
